🎓🌟 College & Career Exploration Month at Marsh Fork Elementary School 🌟🎓

Marsh Fork Elementary School celebrated five days of College and Career Exploration Month with exciting, hands-on activities designed to inspire! Several activities centered on CFWV (College for West Virginia) goals that instill a passion for lifelong learning.

Kindergarten students became career detectives as they searched for clues during an exciting game of, “My Mystery Job!”

1st and 2nd Grade students showcased their creativity by designing one-of-a-kind career posters highlighting their future aspirations!

3rd Grade students participated in an interactive “Discover the College” game where students identified distinguishable characteristics at several colleges and universities across West Virginia!

4th and 5th Grade students took an exciting first step towards the future by completing their very first college applications! Students researched colleges and universities, explored potential majors, and selected electives based on their interests and career goals.

We would like to express our appreciation to our dedicated staff members for sharing their personal educational experiences with our students. Their encouragement and willingness to share valuable insights helped inspire our students to explore future opportunities and understand the importance of education in achieving their goals!

Report Cards will be given out tomorrow at school. If your child is not at school, you will need to make arrangements to pick theirs up. We will not be mailing them, but you are welcome to come and pick them up any time this week. Also, anything that was left in lockers or desks will be donated or thrown away after tomorrow. Thank you for a wonderful year, and have a safe, relaxing summer of family fun!

Good evening, this is Tracie Wood, principal of Marsh Fork Elementary. We are still in full swing here at the school! Remember, attendance is counted every day and students are missing out on fun when they stay home! All of our families are invited to join us in the gym, at 2:15 on Friday, after Water Day, for some freebies and fun to get ready for summer! We hope to see all of our families there!

Our PreK students had a great time at the Next Level Training Center in Sophia for their field trip! Music and games to keep our little bulldogs active and engaged! Then they had a picnic at the Sophia Park. Thank you Next Level Training for making the end of the year special!
