This past weekend four band members represented LHS at Concord University’s 3rd Annual Honor Band. The students had to go through an audition to compete for their seats. Results were:
Seth Jenkins 1st chair alto sax in Maroon Band, Cory Johnson 2nd chair trombone Grey Band, Christie Chappell 6th chair Flute Grey Band, and Jacob Tolliver 2nd chair Clarinet in Grey Band.

Congratulations to our girls today at our first annual Lady Raider Rumble! Rylei Belcher, Karlie Osborne, and Kassidi Richardson each placed first in their weight classes; London Cook and Lucy Farris each placed second in their weight classes; and Jenna Panossian and Maddy Lucas each placed third in their weight classes. A special thanks to our boys for running the tournament today and to our amazing parents for donating their time, food, and drinks for concession.
