Today, LHS had the opportunity to host a mock school bus accident training, giving us a firsthand look at the incredible work our first responders and bus drivers do to keep our community safe! It was especially exciting to see Liberty alumni Dakota Cole and Cory Johnson, along with current student Dakotah Athey, working the scene as first responders! We are so proud to see our Raiders serving our community and making a difference.

You’re never too old to learn....to drive a forklift! Our Liberty Raiders staff had a great time getting forklift certified through ACT Community Classes! We are appreciative of the opportunities ACT provides for our community to learn new skills, try something different, and have a little fun! A special thank you to Mr. Treadway for being such a great instructor! We want our students to understand that learning doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom. We hope they always stay curious, pursue the things that interest them, and aren’t afraid to try something new just because someone else might think it’s silly. Sometimes the things that seem a little silly are the things that make the best memories. Keep learning. Keep trying. Keep being curious. And yes… sometimes get forklift certified just because you can.
