Congratulations to the Class of 2023!
Since 2012, the WV department of Education has required that students entering 12th grade must show proof of a meningococcal booster. This is additional to the required meningococcal and tdap required for 7th grade. You cannot participate in fall sport practice, buy a parking pass, or remain in school on the first day without documentation of the required immunization. An updated dental and wellness exam for incoming seniors can be forwarded to the school nurse. For questions, contact or visit your physician or notify your school nurse.
Yearbooks are in! We will be distributing yearbooks tomorrow, June 1, durning 2nd period(8:19-9:18) and 4th period (10:46-12:16). Then again on June 2 during 5th period (12:20-1:10). Seniors can come only durning those time periods to pick up their yearbook.
This is a reminder that there is no school Friday 5/26 or Monday 5/29. We will see the underclass back on Tuesday 5/30. Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend!

Tomorrow, May 25, 2023, is the Sports Banquet. This is for ALL sports. Doors Open at 5:30 and the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served. We can't wait to see all of our student athletes and their families.
Our last monthly attendance incentive for the 22-23 school year! For the month of April there were only 19 school days, if students missed one day or less they got to enjoy free time outside and a popsicle. Congratulations to all of our students on a successful school year!
Our Big Time Attendance Award was taking eligible students to Ace Adventure Water Park! Student had to miss less than 4 days for the ENTIRE year, be passing all classes, and complete 20 hours of community service. Shouting 🎉 Congratulations to these students! What an accomplishment!
WV State Track and Field Meet
Blake Cabell and Connor Bradford will be competing in the 100 meter dash today in the AA boys state championship race. The meet begins at 2:00pm. They are scheduled to race at 4:30pm. Raider Rewards are an attendance, behavior, and academic reward incentive. Each student has to achieve different requirements for each level which increased in standards. The Black Level is our highest level, students could not have missed more than 1 day of school in a 9 week period, no discipline, and passing grades in all classes.

Last night our Raiders Track and Field team competed at Regionals where the top 3 in each event qualified to advance and compete at the State Track Meet at Laidley Field in Charleston next weekend.
A BIG congratulations to State Qualifiers:
4x100 team (Caleb Tyler, Blake Cabell, Connor Bradford, Carson Cabell), placed 3rd and advance to states, with a new team record time (46.49)
In the 100 meter dash; Connor Bradford set a new personal record (11.74) and placed 2nd and Blake Cabell placed 3rd (11.75).
