We are thrilled to announce that Shelby Daniel and Heather Arbogast has joined our team at Liberty High School! Ms. Daniel will be teaching English and brings a passion for education. Still need CERP training? Volleyball is holding a training on August 5th at 2:30 before tryouts. Parent/guardian and athlete must be present.

Cross Country Flex practices: Thursday 8/1 lake overlook 2:00 pm. Friday 8/2 lake overlook 8:30 am. Parent meeting !!! Monday 8/5 5:15 pm at the school. We will be going over rules, regulations, safety forms, projected meet schedule, as well as the required CERP training for those that don’t have it yet. Practice to follow meeting. Remember that you MUST have your physical and seniors your senior shots before you can practice August 5. See you then!!

Liberty High School is hosting a Senior Expo on August 14th from 12-4 PM! Seniors and their families can get a jump start to their senior year! We will have Access Health from 2-4PM giving senior shots so you don't miss the first day of school. Scholarship information and representatives to answer any questions. Taking a dual credit class? New River CTC will be available to help with logging in and registration. Hilltop Coffee will be at the school selling delicious drinks. Vendors for careers after school and other ways to get involved. Get your schedule and help logging onto parchment for your transcripts. There is a lot to see at the Senior Expo! We hope to see you there!

Cross Country Flex practices for the week: 7/25 & 7/26 Thursday at the school 8:00 am, we will be watching the required emergency cardiac training and then running afterwards. Friday at the lake overlook 8:30 am. Remember to be getting those physicals!

‼️Very important post for Fall Athletes and Parents/Guardians ‼️ WV Legislature now requires every student who plays a sport and their guardian be informed on the Cardiac Emergency Response Plan. Your student athlete will not be able to begin practice without meeting this requirement. Both the athlete and guardian must be present at the information session and sign a form. We will be hosting two days at the school for athletes and their guardians to come to Liberty to meet this requirement. Coaches will be hosting their own dates as well to help families with a date that works best. Presentation dates and times at Liberty(any fall sport): July 25th - 8AM, 10AM, 12PM, 2PM July 30th - 2PM, 3PM, 4PM, 5PM Fall sports include: Cheerleading, Football, Dance, Volleyball, Golf, Band, Cross Country. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we meet this new requirement.

Cross Country will have flex days Monday and Tuesday, 15th and 16th at 8:30. We will be meeting at the overlook at Lake Stephens.

Attention interested Cross Country athletes🚨 The coaches will be meeting at Lake Stephens overlook at 8:30am Thursday July 11 and Friday, July 12 for flex practice. If you will be able to attend, please comment or let Kara Tabor or Duwan Whitten know. Remember before the season starts you will be expected to have an updated physical dated after June 1, 2024 and if you are a senior have your updated immunization records. Hope to see you there!

Attention Students: We have received our Prom inserts for the yearbook. If you would like to pick up your insert please do between the hours of 9:30-2 through May 31st. If not picked up by the end of week, you will have to get them when school begins in August.
